EU Business School - Hochschulportrait
Established in 1973, EU Business School (EU) is an international, professionally accredited, high-ranking business school with campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich and online. We provide small, dynamic classes in English, with the best of both North American and European academic curricula.
EU Business School offers programs at the foundation, bachelor’s, master’s, MBA and doctorate levels, which focus on business administration, international business, marketing, finance, communication, digital business and leadership, among others.
Our high-caliber faculty is made up of entrepreneurs, consultants, business leaders and full-time academics. This combination of the academic and professional worlds supports a unique and exceptional quality of learning. We use a combination of classroom theory and hands-on experiential learning to prepare students for careers in today’s rapidly evolving and globalized business world.
With our global network, we encourage students to participate in program-related intercampus exchanges between our campuses and with partner institutions around the world. Students can earn state-recognized degrees on EU campuses with the University of Derby in the U.K., the University of Roehampton in London and the Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM) in Spain. Partnerships with Pace University in New York, the University of California in Riverside, Fisher College in Boston and Shinawatra University in Bangkok offer students the chance to earn a second qualification while studying in diverse and enriching environments.
EU campuses are located on the sunny Mediterranean coastline, at the foot of the Swiss Alps, and in the economic capital of Germany, offering students the opportunity to live in four distinct and enriching European cities. Students can transfer between campuses and explore the diversity of Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux and Munich. This provides a great excuse to learn a new language and meet a variety of people from different cultures while experiencing new business-oriented opportunities.
Barcelona is a major economic power in Spain and prides itself on its high concentration of innovative entrepreneurs and growing startup industries. The city has made a name for itself as the cosmopolitan capital of the Mediterranean coast with its reasonable cost of living and endless opportunities to play sports, socialize and explore. Home to over 1,000 startups, FC Barcelona, and acclaimed artists such as Salvador Dalí and Antoni Gaudí, Barcelona has rapidly become a center for young, creative talent.
In 2017, due to increasing student numbers, EU Barcelona expanded. Our new Diagonal building now complements our established Ganduxer building, providing more top-class facilities for students, spectacular views and a contemporary interior.
Located on Avinguda Diagonal, the building is in prime position on one of the most important avenues in Barcelona’s business district - and it's just across the road from the trendy L’illa shopping center! The surrounding area offers plenty of parks, gardens, cafés and restaurants in which students are able to sample the quintessential Mediterranean lifestyle.
The second EU Barcelona campus is situated in La Bonanova, an upscale district in the north-west of the city with an old-world charm maintained by its many traditional food markets and shops. In addition to numerous gyms, sporting facilities and fantastic restaurants, the neighborhood also includes modernist works by the renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. The Ganduxer campus building houses state-of-the-art learning facilities with floor-to-ceiling windows that take advantage of the natural light. Wi-Fi access is available across campus and every classroom has a SMARTBoard with a high-tech sound system.
A hub for the world's leading international organizations, such as the United Nations, the World Trade Organization, the World Health Organization and the Red Cross, Geneva also stands tall as a global financial center. Centrally located within Europe, Geneva can be reached within two hours by plane from most of the region's major cities, making it an ideal global destination for international congresses, conferences and negotiation. Good food, a high quality of life and a thriving international business scene add to the many reasons why Geneva is known as a high-functioning, cosmopolitan city.
EU Geneva Campus
The EU Geneva campus is located in the enchanting Grottes Saint-Gervais quarter. This central location puts students at the heart of the world’s leading businesses and just a five-minute walk from the financial district and main shopping area. Wi-Fi access is available across campus and every classroom has a SMARTboard with a high-tech sound system.
Set against the backdrop of the snow-covered Swiss Alps and nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva, Montreux is known as the ‘Pearl of the Swiss Riviera.’ Famed for its beautiful surroundings and spellbinding views, the city also has plenty to offer by way of business, sport and culture - most notably the world-famous Montreux Jazz Festival.
EU Montreux Campus
The EU Montreux campus is located on sloping hills with a spectacular view of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps, in the beautiful Villa Ormond. Surrounded by luscious gardens, the EU Montreux premises are perfect for an outdoor study break. The villa is just steps away from the seven-kilometer lakeside promenade which runs along the lake between Chillon Castle and the nearby town of Vevey, home of Nestlé's headquarters.
The economic capital of Germany is ranked fourth globally for quality of living and is home to a kaleidoscope of contrasts - from rococo opera halls to cutting-edge skyscrapers. Alongside old buildings, narrow streets and lively open-air beer gardens, you will find state-of-the-art architecture and vibrant nightlife. Coined as the center of “laptops and lederhosen”, business is also vital to the city’s identity. From programs to help startup companies with logistics to a welcoming community of multinationals, the city actively promotes the presence of business, commerce and innovation.
EU Munich Campus
The EU Munich campus is centrally located in Theresienhöhe, across the street from the historic and lively Theresienwiese fairground, home to the world’s largest fair, Oktoberfest. A comfortable walk from the city center, the campus is in close proximity to the world’s business leaders. Students regularly attend industrial visits to the headquarters of global enterprises like BMW, Siemens, Paulaner, Coca-Cola, MAN Trucks, Audi and Porsche. Impressively, of the neighborhood's 47 hectares, 25 are public acreage and 11 are green spaces.

In 2012, EU Business School opened its online campus, anticipating upward trends in corporate mobility and the busy agendas of business professionals. Our online campus offers qualifications at both the undergraduate and graduate level along with corporate development programs.
Our online programs are ideal for those who want to obtain a fully accredited degree without having to compromise their busy work schedule. They are designed to equip students with the knowledge and competencies needed to advance their careers and become experts in their fields, while giving them the flexibility to study online at their own convenience.
EU’s blended online programs offer an easy-to-use web platform, acclaimed and experienced lecturers, and on-campus weeks. For a truly integrated student experience, our flexible technology enables students to participate in live lectures from anywhere in the world. This means that students are able to study at a world-leading business school, regardless of their location.
EU’s online qualifications serve as passports to successful management careers. This is largely due to our pragmatic approach to business education - one that emphasizes the case study method. Through curricula tailored to accommodate individual needs, our students are prepared for leadership positions in the modern business world.
EU organizes regular activities that give students an insight into real-world business practice outside the classroom. Seminars, presentations and trips complement the academic theory that students examine in class, offering hands-on experiences that bring business to life.
Students are taken to visit selected national and international companies like BMW, Nestlé and UEFA among others, where they observe how theoretical concepts can be applied to real business situations. Coursework relevant to the visit is assigned and requires students to present oral and written reports.
EU invites important worldwide leaders, such as the former Secretary-General of the UN Kofi Annan, the CEO of the Montreux Jazz Festival Mathieu Jaton, the former President of the Swiss Confederation Adolf Ogi, and the Chairman of Nestlé Paul Bulcke, to give conferences at EU. These sessions stimulate students’ curiosity, deliver detailed information on modern business practices and offer practical, informed opinions on current events.
During one- or two-week trips, students visit selected corporations, commercial hubs, government and trade organizations around the world, where they observe a variety of industries and meet with senior management. They discover new cultures and professional practices. These trips are followed up with project reports based on the experience.
EU regularly brings innovative and thought-provoking conferences to its students. On October 26 and 27, in collaboration with the International Association of Public Transport (UITP), EU Business School (EU) held a conference on electric mobility in Munich. Leading industry experts, authorities and academics came together at this highly successful conference. 100 participants actively debated the future and challenges of the electric mobility industry in roundtable sessions, keynote speaker presentations and speed chats throughout an illuminating, two-day event.
