Can I apply for Hotelschool The Hague while I’m abroad? 

If you do not have the possibility to come to one of our selection days in the Netherlands, you are more than welcome to come to one of our selection days abroad. The selection days are listed when you apply.

Is Hotelschool The Hague a private school? 

Hotelschool The Hague is not a private school as we are funded by the government. Our small-scale university is one of the reasons we are able to offer such a unique and successful programme. 

How many courses do I have to follow during the Bachelor Programme? 

The Bachelor programme is split up in three phases. Phase 1 is all about hospitality performance; you learn to do the existing well’. Phase 2 emphasises the tactical application of this knowledge; you improve on the existing. In the final phase you apply your learning and experience strategically; searching for new combinations. In each phase, you follow different courses. 

How do I apply for the Bachelor Programme and when?

You can apply online by following the steps: Apply for Bachelor Hotel Management at Hotelschool The Hague. As soon as we have received and processed your application, and you meet all the requirements, you will be invited to one of the selection days. It is possible that the selection days are fully booked near the final application day. Therefore keep in mind to enrol as soon as possible.  

Is an English test required when applying for the Master Programme?

Yes, except for native speakers and people who have worked or studied for at least two years in a professional English speaking environment. We accept official reports by IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge.

Is a GMAT required when applying for the MBA Programme? 

A GMAT will be required when there is insufficient information regarding the academic abilities and skills of the candidate or the candidate only has a three year Bachelor Degree.

How many courses do I have to follow during the MBA in International Hospitality Management programme? 

The year is divided into 5 blocks, each of 10 weeks. Each block covers several courses which are based on inspirational, professional assignments and are supported by guest lectures, field trips and workshops. You can read more about the courses in the course overview.

Do I need a Bachelor diploma in Hospitality- or Hotel Management for the MBA Programme? 

No, we also welcome people with non-related Bachelor diplomas. However you should have an economic oriented educational profile (like international business management, economics).

Am I qualified for the MBA Programme?

This very much depends on your personal profile. We advise you to send your CV and ask for a personal consult before sending the application file.

How do I apply for the International Fast Track Programme and when? 

You can apply online from 1 October 2015 on by following the steps: Apply for the International fast Track programme at Hotelschool The Hague (The link: http://hotelschool.nl/en/education/international-fast-track#!apply)  As soon as we have received and processed your application, and you meet all the requirements, you will be invited to one of the selection days.

Do IFT students also stay at the Skotel, the Training & Study Hotel during the first year? 

The International Fast Track programme starts with a 5-week Summer Preparation course that starts every July. During these 5 weeks you live in the Skotel, the Training & Study Hotel of the school.  After the Summer Preparation course you continue with phase 2 and 3 of the regular Bachelor programme, both covering one year. During this period, you arrange housing yourself.

Is Hotelschool The Hague a private school?

The International Fast Track programme starts with a 5-week Summer Preparation course that starts every July. After the Summer Preparation course you continue with phase 2

If you would like to apply for a start in February 2017, you can apply from 1 October 2016 until 1 November 2016 (both EEA and NON-EEA students).

Would you like to start in August 2017? EEA students can apply until 1 May 2017. Non-EEA applicants can apply until 1 March 2017.

Master
